August at Ascend | Deepening community through collective movement
We believe that movement is more than a physical act,
it’s a powerful way to connect with ourselves and with each other. This August, we’ve been focusing on Community Connection, and we invite you to move with us as we celebrate the strength, support, and joy found in shared movement experiences.
Here are a few ways you can deepen your community connections this month—in & out of the studio.
1. Celebrate Collective Movement & Shared Goals
There’s something energizing about moving together—whether it's syncing up on the bikes in our Rise & Ride classes or holding steady through a strong finish in Core & Flow. When we move in unison, we tap into a sense of collective purpose.
Tip: Set an intention each week—whether it’s showing up consistently, trying a new class, or cheering on a fellow mover. Aligning your personal goals with the studio’s collective energy can amplify your experience.
👉 Not sure where to start? Sign up for a class you’ve never tried before and see how it shifts your perspective. Book your next class now
2. Deepen Relationships with Fellow Movers
Shared effort builds meaningful bonds. Over time, the faces you see beside you become more than just classmates—they become part of your support system. A simple hello, a high-five after class, or a post-sweat coffee can go a long way in turning a workout into a relationship.
Tip: Arrive a few minutes early or stay a bit after class to connect. Ask someone what class they love or how long they’ve been coming—it’s often the small conversations that spark the strongest connections.
👉 Ready to make movement more social? Grab a friend and join us for a partner-focused class or community event this month. View the schedule
3. Be a Part of a Space Where Everyone Feels Welcome & Supported
Inclusivity is at the heart of what we do. Whether you're new to movement or a long-time member, you belong here. We design our classes and environment to be supportive, adaptable, and judgment-free—so that every body, at every stage, feels seen and celebrated.
Tip: If you're unsure about a class or movement, let your instructor know—we're here to support you. And if you see someone new to the studio, say hi. A warm welcome can make all the difference.
👉 Come experience the inclusive vibe for yourself. First time or long time—we’d love to move with you. Join the collective here
